A short while ago the car got “Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy” on me….

GCFC v Spelthorne

24/09/2016. Spelthorne Sports v Guildford City. Guildford City Dan HARDING’s shot saved by keeper
Disappointing result against Spelthorne, but not for the lack of trying, City should have been several goals to the good by half time, but despite beating their goal keeper on numerous occasions the strikers just couldn’t find the back of the net. Sometimes shit just happens. Hey ho on to the next one.. at home to Raynes Park on Wednesday. #UpTheCity
Player Profile Photos
Needed to shoot some player profile photos, so the studio kit travelled to the Spectrum Stadium, the only useable space is a a store room, the clubhouse would be suitable if it was empty, but as fans are wanting beer I set up temporary home in a cupboard.
Not exactly the most salubrious of spaces, shared as it was with javelins, hammers & various other bits of athletics equipment. However, after 20 minutes of setting up, we were ready to work through the list. Some players were unavailable so we will be back again.
Highs & Lows of Football

17/09/2016. Guildford City v Hanworth Villa. City’s Bobby DORMER
After the highs of Wednesday night with a 7-3 victory against local rivals Farnham Town, Guildford were unable to replicate that sort of form at the weekend. Going behind to a solitary goal, they fashioned a few chances but couldn’t find the back of the net.

17/09/2016. Guildford City v Hanworth Villa. City’s Perry COLES
A wee storm

16/09/2016. Lightening Strikes Guildford
A little rain, no a lot of f*cking rain, but a great light show
Brilliant Result

14/09/2016. Guildford City FC v Farnham Town
Guildford City battered local rivals Farnham Town last night, they won 7-3 but for an impressive performance from their keeper it could have been a far greater margin of victory.

Always The Sun..

11/09/2016. Always The Sun Festival. The Dub Pistols on Stage
Long day, I was working at the Always The Sun Festival on Sunday, properly worn out, walked miles & miles, maybe even more than that. Main thing was at least the weather was good, would have been miserable if it had been like Saturday. Some great acts on the main stage, most of whom I had never heard of, but great non-the-less.
Needless to say, but I will anyway, with the idea of yomping miles with all the kit didn’t impress, so two bodies, 17-40mm & 70-200mm, one flash & an iPad to tweet the pics regularly during the day for the client.
After nearly 10 hours I was struggling, having only gone wearing chinos & a polo I had neglected to take a jacket or fleece with me, so was a bit chilly at nearly 10pm. It is amazing how quickly warm summer evenings disappear to be replaced by chilly autumnal ones.
Wetter than an Otters pocket

10/09/2016. Queens Park Rangers v Blackburn Rovers. CHERY Scores
Damned that was wet, covered the QPR v Blackburn Rovers game today, & it pissed down, I was so wet, that if I was your missus…. anyway a bore draw, to be honest QPR probably should have just edged it. Anyway dry now, with another opportunity to get “moist” tomorrow, which will be nice.
Floody Hell
Here is a selection of photographs from the widely unpublished & completely un-acclaimed series of photographs from the world of mainly non-league football. These photographs have successfully failed to win any awards or even vague interest, which should of course make them interesting. Anyway enjoy, ignore whatever.
Ready for the footy
I’m now ready for the football to commence, this weekend includes QPR v Blackburn on Saturday & Always The Sun Music Festival on Sunday.
Interesting Day….

03/09/2016. Woking Food Festival. The Clink with Antonio Carluccio and Al Crisci
5 Jobs in the diary, one got rained off, Two Village Shows One Food Festival & a Rugby Match. Then late in the day, just a little too late news of filming in Woking, by which time the rain was biblical & they’d stomped off under cover.
