Untitled-1A little football club in Guildford that I photograph regularly for their match day programmes & the local newspaper coverage did brilliantly well in the “national match day programme awards” beating local, much higher placed, and far wealthier teams such as Woking & Aldershot Town FC. So well done Guildford City FC. Onwards & Upwards.

That was a late one, left for an election job early evening, arrived in good time, hoping to use the WC & was told No, waited to be supervised to the public gallery, no wi-fi, no tea/coffee etc,(eventually found a WC I could use in MacDonalds. Anyway I was told that the council are not legally obliged to even accept the media. Anyway I shook hands with the person & I muttered “I am not legally obliged to wash my hands after pissing”…

Anyway eventually the count was finished about 0340hrs, home & in bed by 0500hrs. Then up at 9 to travel to Brighton to pick up a new Mac Pro desk top, now a few hours of downloads & migration to get it configured….

Wednesday night saw me at the Woking FC ground covering the Surrey Senior Cup Final between the Metropolitan Police & Merstham FC. The Met Police ran out 2-0 winners probably just about worthy of the score-line, although they were put under a lot of pressure in the second half.
