Specialist Search use an endoscope to search the airspaces of the porch at the the Home address of Saad al-Hilli &family murdered in France

With reports the French Police investigators were going to be attending the Family home of Saad Al-Hilli, I thought it would be worthwhile dropping by the address again.

The French Rozzers decided that they didn’t need to visit the house, so that was a couple of hours wasted, the forensics teams were still there and drilled a series of holes in the porch roof and then used an endoscope to examine the airspaces between the roof beams.

It was funny to hear the TV reporters displaying their complete ignorance of Police search procedures and tools.

That was different

The first job of the day was to search out a film set, which was unsuccessful, then as I realised that the Coach involved in an accident that resulted in three fatalities wasn’t going to be cleared anytime soon, I headed to the scene of the accident.

I arrived at a little after lunch, and finally left the scene at 22.30. with a few frames in the bag. I was surprised that I was the only stills photographer there, surrounded by ENG teams. And not single one of them offered me a brew, miserable gits.

Anyway, too late for any shows in the nationals tomorrow, but they are now wired and I am having a pint.
