Forgot how much effort it takes

_PB26070It has been a few years since I last covered any kind of football, and then it was Premiership or Championship matches, this weekend saw me at a conference game, specifically Crawley Town versus Gateshead. On the basis of recent form I decided to follow the Home Team attacking, but they ultimately ran out 1-4 loosers. D’Oh.

Good fun though.

Sorry, been a mad week or so…

big-tomI haven’t updated the blog for a while as it has all been a bit mental, running around like a blue arsed fly, trying to get things done. This week has involved trips to pick up a new Sigma 120-300 F2.8, to replace an old one that I had, drop my 70-200 F2.8L in for a service as it keeps giving error messages, always at the worst possible time.

Then four new tyres for the Jeep, new front brake pads, new wipers, three new bulbs and then an MOT which it passed with flying colours.

This week I have also had to get a couple of hard disks (one for my music collection, which stands at about 300GB and one for carrying some of the Image Archive with me when on the road), and discovered a couple of bargains, a Seagate FreeAgent portable 320GB (firewire 400/800 and usb2) for £49.00. Also a Seagate FreeAgent Desktop 1TB (Firewire 400/800 and usb2) for £69.00.

This weekend I am covering a Conference Premier Footy Match, hence the requirement for the 120-300mm (and the MOT) I will report later on the Lens and the HD Drives.

Toodle Pip.
