Thanks to a reader of this blog I have some screen grabs of the “Burgy” out on a job. When Mike Tindall was banned from driving I was at Reading Magistrates court. Can you tell which one I am?
Also it wasn’t that cold, so i was in a fleece, polo shirt and jeans, whilst everyone else seemed to be wearing enough cold weather gear to mount an expedition to the summit of Everest.
What did surprise me was the number of phone calls and text messages from non-photographer friends and acquaintances saying “I have just seen you on television”, and they came from all over the country, from London BBC area and the west country, the south and even some up north.
To be honest I don’t think that I would have recognised myself from the footage. hey ho!
In the last frame I am not confronting Mike, I am actually saying ‘Thank You”, being “old school” I also think that it is worthwhile being polite when someone plays the game without being an idiot, and Mike was a gentleman throughout the whole media interest.
Maybe I should run some sort of competition for who has spotted the “Burgy” from the furthest away from his home patch.
So any visitors from the antipodes or the states that have screen grabs to prove it will stand a chance of a prize. Probably a mention on the blog, I can’t think of anything else that I have that anyone will want, apparently Clamidia is not as rare as it once was, and Herpes is not nice.
Your suggestions please?
